Core NMR Meets Different Analysis Requirements

Core NMR is the use of low field MRI to obtain oil and water saturation of the rock in the flow information. The main measurements include: pore size distribution, permeability, free flow porosity, and clay bound water, etc.

Core nuclear magnetic resonance is specially designed for the core samples of the oil field reservoir and has become the industrial standard of the laboratory NMR Core research, Rock Core NMR & MRI which has been widely used in many famous oil producers and core analysis laboratories around the world.

The variety of selection makes core NMR coverage of conventional core analysis and research and application, and its main characteristics are:

· Rock Core NMR & MRI The ultra-low field can reduce the influence of magnetization and also supplement the working frequency of the logging tool.

· Resonant frequency 1~7mhz optional to meet different analysis requirements

· With pulse gradient field matching, for viscous, humid, diffusion analysis and imaging

· Sample probe size up to 150 mm (with gradient magnetic field of 100 mm)

· WINDXP software has multiple exponential T2 analysis capability

Use:

It is used to detect oil content in oil-bearing crops and their processing materials. The nuclear magnetic resonance oil detector is an oil detection equipment developed in accordance with standard gb/t15690 (oil-bearing oil content NMR assay 1995).

The NMR response characteristics of cores have important guiding role in the application of NMR technology in the development of this kind of oil and gas resources. The characteristics of NMR T2 spectrum response, nuclear magnetic porosity, T2 cutoff value of movable fluid and rock specific surface distribution were studied by using NMR and gas-water centrifugation. Research results show that the T2 spectrum of shale can be divided into 3 types, Rock Core NMR & MRI namely Unimodal T2 spectrum, Shuangfeng T2 spectrum with isolated right peak and Shuangfeng T2 spectrum of the left and right peaks, and most of the T2 relaxation time is less than 10ms, and the fractured pores in the reservoir account for about 9.16% of the total pore space. Based on NMR T2 spectra, the surface of shale ratio is mainly distributed in 3.59-80.51μm-1. The magnetic porosity of shale is generally smaller than that of water, and the average error is about 22.33%, which is related to the pore of clay and the development of fracture porosity. Rock Core NMR & MRI Based on the experimental results of gas-water centrifuge, the T2 cutoff value of nuclear magnetic resonance fluid in shale cores is calculated at 3.87-16.68ms, the average is 8.29ms, the average of the free gas saturation of the reservoir Matrix Rocks is about 9.72%.
